Don Osborne

Don Osborne – President and Founder
Don founded INQUARTA in 1994 and has counseled over 2,000 applicants to graduate school. Don has worked for The Princeton Review as co-author of their MCAT verbal program and author of the “Verbal Accelerator” course. A prolific speaker and author, Don has delivered more than 400 speeches and is the author of 15 books, guides, planners and DVDs available through INQUARTA Publishing. He has been an adjunct faculty member with the University of Redlands, where he taught economics and financial management. He earned his MBA from Pepperdine University in 1991.

Judy Clendenin – Managing Editor / Writing Coach
For over ten years, Judy was editor and columnist for a monthly news publication serving Irvine, Calif. She interviewed and wrote biographies on individuals involved in a 9,800 home development in Irvine. In addition to her work as a journalist and editor, Judy has experience designing and editing brochures for major pharmaceutical companies, law offices and non-profit foundations. She received her B.A. in English from UC Irvine.

Monica Osborne – Editor
Monica Osborne (no relation to Don) has taught English writing courses at the university level and is currently completing her PhD in English with emphasis in Jewish literature at Purdue University. Monica received her undergraduate degree from Vanguard University, where she majored in both English and Business Administration. At Vanguard she designed and led the first women’s group as part of a greater outreach to poverty-stricken people in Mexico. She received an M.A. in English with a literature concentration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where she was involved in the leadership of Sigma Tau Delta, a national English Honor Society. Monica also studied art and Italian language at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy. She is currently studying the Hebrew language. Her research interests include multi-ethnic literatures, Jewish-American and Holocaust literature, and feminist theory.

Andrea Woolf – Success Strategies Coach

Through the use of focused listening and structured support, Andrea facilitates dramatic results for our clients on issues of time management, life balancing, and accountability. By helping clients identify and manage common stumbling blocks (e.g. the pressure of expectations, the fear of failure, and the paralysis of perfectionism), she helps them access their passion and to take purposeful action toward actualizing their vision. Andrea has been a professional business and personal success coach for nine years. She has over twenty years diverse experience as an executive administrator in a range of businesses, including international business management, entertainment, and architecture, as well as executive search at the worldwide headquarters of Korn/Ferry International. Andrea has a postgraduate diploma in Tri-Lingual Business Studies from the Polytechnic of the South Bank, London, England, and earned her B.A. Combined Honors degree in French and Spanish from Queen Mary College, University of London. She has completed the advanced curriculum at The Coaches Training Institute.

Jon Kaplan – MBA Admissions Consultant
Jon has provided advising support to INQUARTA’s MBA clients since 2001. His expertise in MBA admissions criteria stems from his tenure as Associate Director of the Admissions Office for the UCLA Anderson School of Management. From 1999 to 2000, Jon was closely involved with all aspects of the recruiting, interviewing and evaluation process for one of the most highly-regarded graduate schools of management in the world. Prior to this position, he had accumulated extensive experience in sports management and marketing. He worked from 1985 to 1997 as Director of Operations at UCLA Athletics for Football and Men’s Basketball, successfully recruiting more than 50% of targeted student-athletes, including 44 football players who ultimately went on to play in the NFL. Jon has also served as public address announcer for UCLA Football and Men’s Basketball as well as for the Harlem Globetrotters. In 2004, Jon left his post as the Associate Director of the Career Management Center at the Anderson School, where he managed counseling staff, developed career planning workshops for students and alumni, and conducted research on industry trends affecting MBA hiring. Presently, Jon is Assistant Dean at Chapman University’s MBA program. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 1983 from UCLA and holds an MBA from the Anderson School.
