Like most MBA school applicants, I applied when I was working a Monday – Friday job that consumed most of my life and left me almost no free time to figure out everything I needed to do to get accepted to a top program.
I wanted to get accepted to a top MBA school, but I really didn’t know if I was qualified enough, and my job made it hard for me to study for the GMAT.
So I struggled. I wore myself out and stretched myself thin figuring out the process, but it meant I had to put aside work, friends, hobbies, relationships — all so I could apply.
I badly needed help. I didn’t have the time, the energy, or the information to choose a top MBA program for me. As a result, I settled on a local MBA program.
Years later, I realize the colossal mistake I made. I could have attended a MUCH stronger MBA program than the one I did. If only someone would have taken the time to help me see where I could fit. I would have gone to a MUCH BETTER MBA program.
All these years later, now that I’ve helped more than 6,000 applicants navigate the process, I’ve created an online course for MBA applicants that would have been exactly what I needed when I applied.
This is an excerpt from the MBA School Admissions Blueprint. Why did I created the Blueprint? Because it’s the one thing I really needed when I applied to MBA school, but couldn’t find the help I needed.
