Here’s an important heads-up if you’re planning to take the MCAT in 2014 or 2015: Jan. 8, 10 and 13, 2015 will be the last test dates for the current three-section MCAT. After that time, the AAMC will released the new 4-section 2015 MCAT. Register early to make sure you get your preferred test date!
Registration is already open for test dates between January and May of 2014, but there were stumbling blocks to the enrollment process, with an unexpected shutdown of the website. Registration for test dates between June and September of 2014 will likely open in mid-February.
If you have already tried enrolling but experienced issues in your enrollment attempt, you’ll need to check your account to make sure you were properly enrolled. The AAMC suggests keeping an eye on the MCAT Twitter account for any updates or changes to the exam.
An Affordable MCAT Prep Option
Are you considering enrolling in a live MCAT prep course? They’re quite expensive, so if you’re not sure you need a full live course you should enroll in The MCAT Club. The Club gives you access to tons of online resources and live MCAT prep meetings for a low monthly membership fee. After a few months in the Club you’ll know whether you need to pay for a much more expensive live course.
I was thinking of prpiepng for the MCAT during a 6 month period. I have planned on taking the MCAT on August and start on January with the examcrackers supplement until March. Afterwards i was going to start with the Princeton classes from April through June. Is this a good idea or should i be doing both reviews at the same time? +23Was this answer helpful?
Definitely start with one, check on your score improvement, and then take another class after you find out your improvement. -DonO
