- Number of applicants — 4,962
- Number of matriculants — 113
- In-state and out-of-state matriculants — 13.3% / 86.7%
- Average GPA — 3.86
- Average MCAT score — 34
This is a great time to go to Duke University. The downtown of Durham is currently being remodeled and reconstructed after formerly being an industrial tobacco hub. There are plenty of local places to eat — Parizade, for example, sells delicious Mediterranean food. Elmo’s Diner sells very cheap breakfast food and has won editor’s awards. These aren’t the only ones. Durham is a very busy city and you certainly won’t find yourself bored.
