If you currently attend Texas A&M University at College Station, TX as a premed or are a premed living in the Bryan area, you are likely looking to apply to the Texas A&M Health Science Center College. The faculty staff is massive with over 1,600 and will definitely suit your interests in medical science and allow you to establish plenty of connections long after. Here are some stats:

  • Number of applicants — 3,856
  • Number of matriculants — 199
  • In-state and out-of-state matriculants — 95.5% / 4.5%
  • Average GPA — 3.75
  • Average MCAT score — 30

Bryan, Texas is for a certain type of person. It is largely surrounded by a rural-type area that is traditional and quiet. It is kept nicely in shape and there’s plenty of local shops. If you’re from the neighboring area, or live outside the city, then you’ll be used to this type of environment and you’ll love it here. For all you city types, this might take some getting used to.
